Privacy Policy

MyKey Plans collects only what it needs to run its apps, does not sell your information, and does not show ads. This policy covers mykeyplans.com and every MyKey Plans app, including MyKey Command Center, MyKey Steps, and MyKey Transfers. MyKey LaunchPad has its own, more detailed Privacy Policy inside that app. Where the two differ, the LaunchPad policy applies to MyKey LaunchPad.
1. Who we are
MyKey Plans is the brand name of MyKey Consulting Services LLC, based in Bothell, Washington. You can reach us at hello@mykeyplans.com.
2. What we collect
• Account details. Your email address, and your name if you give it. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your email address, and your name if Google provides it. We never see your Google password.
• What you add to an app. Tasks, routines, goals, plans, notes, photos, and other things you choose to enter. In family planning tools, this can include details about a child or young adult, such as support needs.
• Purchase details. If you buy a membership, our payment company handles your card. We receive a record that you paid. We do not receive or store your card number.
• Basic technical details. Things like device type, browser, and pages visited, which help us keep the apps working and safe.
• Messages you send us. Emails and contact form entries.
3. How we use it
• To run the apps and save your work.
• To sign you in and keep your account secure.
• To process purchases and give you what you paid for.
• To answer your questions.
• To send service emails, such as a welcome note or a password reset.
• To send newsletters, only if you signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To fix problems and improve the apps.
4. What we do not do
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not show ads in our apps.
• We do not use what you enter in an app for advertising.
• We do not use information from Google sign-in for anything other than signing you in and running your account.
5. Companies that help us run the apps
We share information only with the service companies that make the apps work. Each one receives only what it needs.
• Base44: hosts the apps and stores app data.
• Google: sign-in with Google, if you choose it.
• Stripe: handles card payments.
• Wix: hosts mykeyplans.com.
• Omnisend: sends newsletters and service emails.
• ElevenLabs: creates read-aloud voices in some tools.
Some tools use artificial intelligence (AI) to create suggestions, such as breaking a task into steps or drafting a plan. When you use one of those tools, the text you enter is sent to an AI service provider to create the suggestion. AI suggestions can contain mistakes, so please review them before relying on them.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
6. Children and students
Our apps are designed for teens and adults with disabilities, their families, and the educators who support them.
• Our apps are not for children under 13. No one under 13 may create an account or use an app.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we will delete it.
• When a school uses an app with students, the school decides what student information is entered, and we use it only to provide the app to that school.
• Parents and guardians use some apps, such as MyKey LaunchPad, to plan for a child of any age. In that case the parent or guardian is the user, enters the information, and may see, correct, or delete it at any time.
7. Your choices
• See or correct your information. Most of it is visible and editable inside the app.
• Delete your account. Use the delete option in the app's settings, or email hello@mykeyplans.com. We delete your account and app data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as purchase records.
• Stop emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter.
• Stop using Google sign-in. You can remove access in your Google Account settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. Email us and we will honor valid requests.
8. How long we keep information
We keep your information while your account is open. After you delete your account, we remove it as described above.
9. Security
We use trusted service companies, encrypted connections, and limited staff access to protect your information. No online service can promise perfect security. If a problem affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
10. Cookies
Our website and apps use cookies and similar tools to keep you signed in and to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make an important change, we will update the date at the top and post a notice on our website or in the apps.
